Personal Bio: James was born in Northallerton, England and began playing soccer at the age of 8 after the family returned from living in Tokyo, Japan for 3 years. James enjoys playing in any attacking position on the field but has played in every position throughout his soccer career. Growing up, James played for his local juniors team, high school team and then at University in Lancaster. He continues to enjoy playing now and plays for a team in the Premier Soccer League of Chicagoland.

James began coaching in 2010 by volunteering at the local junior soccer team he grew up playing for. 

This experience and James's passion for soccer led him to pursue a career in coaching; which led him to begin working in the US in 2011.

James has coached across several states in the midwest and east coast. He is making his second stint at Evolution after joining Wizards FC in Oak Brook at their inception in 2013.
